To transform the current assembly line workstations from a mass production material flow environment to a Lean material flow environment. The main objective will be to create formal standardized predictable processes that will give us the accuracy and speed to satisfy the production rate demanded by our customers.
The hourly operators will be the driving force for this transformation and their participation and buying of the program is essential to ensure success. The salary production and materials supervisors, process engineers, and managerial staff will support and advise during the Material Flow Strategy development and implementation process.
